The Bean was born in the East Village in 2003 on the corner of 1st Ave & East 3rd St. When our original home was taken over in 2011, we moved just down the block to 2nd Ave & East 3rd—roots and all—joined by our loyal community. We’ve since grown to 1st Ave & 9th St, Broadway & 12th, and 31 3rd Ave & East 9th St. Wherever you visit us, you’ll find bold coffee, fresh bites, and a cozy, welcoming vibe.
